Budapests Parliament is the third largest parliament in the world and is considered one of the most beautiful; when you see it you’ll know why. This magnificent building has 691 rooms and will draw your attention from just about anywhere in the city. The building, along with the Basilica, is the tallest in the city at 96 metres. The number 96 has special meaning as the nations millennium occurred in 1896 which was just a few short years before construction was completed though it was still inaugurated in time.

The interior of the parliament is splendid too, so take a tour and see the Hungarian Coronation Regalia, its most prized treasure which contains: the Holy Crown, the orb, the sceptre and a Renaissance sword. Other attractions to be seen here include the ceiling frescoes, the Grand Staircase, the Dome Hall and the beautiful painted glass windows.
